Introducing Repay Rewards: 0.5% Cashback for Paying On Time

MyLoanCredits now rewards good repayment. Earn 0.5% cashback on every on-time monthly payment — tracked automatically, paid when your loan completes.

Repay Rewards — coins raining from a 0.5% cashback badge into a customer's open arms

Most lenders only talk to you when something goes wrong. A missed payment triggers a call; a late one triggers a charge. Pay perfectly for three years and what do you get? Silence.

We think that's backwards. So today we're launching Repay Rewards — the loan that pays you back for paying on time.

How it works

The mechanics are deliberately simple:

  • Every on-time monthly repayment earns 0.5% of that payment as cashback. Pay RM664.29 on or before the due date, and RM3.32 goes into your rewards balance.
  • It's tracked automatically. No vouchers, no codes, no claiming windows. If the payment arrives on time, the reward is recorded.
  • You're paid when the loan completes. Once your final instalment clears, your full cashback balance is transferred to your bank account — one clean payout.
  • A missed month only costs that month's reward. Everything you've already earned stays intact, and you start earning again the next on-time payment.

What it's worth in ringgit

Take a typical loan: RM20,000 over 36 months at 12% p.a. That's a monthly repayment of RM664.29, and a total of RM23,914 repaid.

Pay every month on time, and 0.5% of every payment comes back to you — about RM119 landing in your account when the loan closes. On larger loans, it scales: a RM50,000 loan over 60 months returns roughly RM334 for a perfect repayment record.

It won't buy you a car. But it's real money for doing something you were going to do anyway — and we don't know another lender in Malaysia offering it. (If we're wrong about that, we're happy to be in good company.)

Why we're doing this

Two honest reasons.

First, incentives should point the same direction. A lender profits when you borrow; a good lender profits when you borrow well. Rewarding on-time payment aligns what's good for you — a clean CCRIS record, no late charges, a finished loan — with what's good for us.

Second, it keeps us accountable. A cashback promise tied to on-time payments only works if our side of the process is smooth: clear due dates, timely reminders, payment methods that don't fail at 11:58pm. Repay Rewards makes friction our problem, not yours.

The fine print, in plain sight

  • Cashback applies to payments made on or before the due date stated in your loan agreement.
  • The reward is 0.5% of the monthly instalment amount (principal + interest).
  • Cashback is paid within 14 days of full settlement — including early settlement, which remains penalty-free. Settle early and you keep every reward already earned.
  • Full terms are set out in your loan agreement, and the programme applies automatically to new loans from today.

No asterisks doing heavy lifting. That's the whole deal.

Common questions

How do I sign up for Repay Rewards?

You do not. The programme applies automatically to every new MyLoanCredits loan — there is nothing extra to activate, no vouchers and no claiming window. If your payment arrives on or before the due date, the reward is recorded.

When is the cashback paid out?

Within 14 days of full settlement of your loan, as a single transfer to your bank account. Early settlement counts as full settlement, and it remains penalty-free, so settling ahead of schedule does not cost you the rewards you have already earned.

What happens to my rewards if I miss a payment?

You lose only that month's reward. Everything earned before it stays in your balance, and you start earning again with your next on-time payment.

How much cashback can I actually earn?

It is 0.5% of each monthly instalment. On a RM20,000 loan over 36 months at 12% p.a. that is about RM119 over the life of the loan; a RM50,000 loan over 60 months returns roughly RM334 for a perfect repayment record.
